On an unrelated note, I can feel another road trip coming up. Maybe not too soon, but I sure hope so. I want to see the Lonely Mountain one more time.

"...old friends long gone."

It makes me sad that things happen to good friendships. Time happens sometimes, or distance. Sometimes I desire heaven more for the reunion and company of friends than for the presence of God. It reminds me of Frodo and Sam parting company. I wish I could spend my whole life just having good friendships with people, not working som estupid job for money or anything else. Really going deep, talking bravely about serious things, trusting each other, having awesome fun, experiencing.

I made some lists of people I wished I knew better, or wished lived closer. But I deleted them, because I don't want to ostracise anyone. I also made a list of people that I wish I had not been mean to, but I deleted it because I didn't want to reveal anyone's identity...or leave anyone off accidentally.
